I have a Chiappa 1887 that i bought here. It is the standard model, not the T model or the load 2/shoot 2 CAS model. Beautiful gun, but something is not right. The trigger pull is abominable, like pulling a cat off a board fence by its tail!
Also I was watching Hickok45 review the T model and he was showing how you lower that tiny hammer to half #### and then to full #### again. Now granted, Hickok45 has huge hands, but there is no way anyone could bring the hammer on mine back to full ####. The only way you can do it is by moving the lever part way.
So, all these things lead me to believe that someone disassembled the gun and put it back together wrong, or some other problem exists.
Who would you recommend to fix it. I would prefer someone in SW Ontario but I would be willing it ship the gun to someone good.
Thanks in advance for your help and for NOT recommending your brother in law that just finished his correspondence school gunsmithing course.
