I was at the local gun store and they had just got this shotgun in. I though my dreams had come true. I was going to get my lever shotgun. He brings it out this beautiful caes hardened gun. Wait this isn't a Norinco. I looked at the price 1100 bucks. I felt like I just got kicked in the nuts. It was a beauty.
I don't have that much spare cash, so he put it back on the shelf. Have any of you guys seen one or tried it? The local guy dosen't get that much so called neat stuff. May be they have been out for a while. They worth that much money?

I just got one from Epps a month and a half ago, shot it for the first time last weekend. Its very nice and I am quite impressed. It ran and cycled perfectly. It would throw the hulls out as fast as I could pull the trigger on it. The lever throw on '87's can sometime require be a real nasty forward throw, but this one didn't seem to need any real punch. It levered and tossed well.

Well finished, good fit, interchangeable screw-in chokes. Its pretty dreamy. :p

Temper this with the fact I have only shot it 25 times since purchase. We'll see how it holds up when the CAS season starts.

Oh my lord.
Need.
Are they $1100 price range?
More details... I must paw one of these. Did Epps stock them or was it a special order?
Gah! Have to go through the locker and see what I can sell...

I hope you're happy with what you've started.

I know, I have needed one for a while. Yes, 1100 price range. Epps stocked/stocks them, I asked if I could order another they said no prob.

Happy? Yes, very happy, I like starting things, muahahha :stirthepot2:

AGE, if you don't mind in buying a Norc 1887 copy, A local gunsmith can fix all the faults out of the Chinese gun and slick the action for reasonable price, but if I were you, I would sell a gun or 2, and buy the Chapparal! PM if you want the smiths name! Dale Z!

Thanks Zywima for the help. I'm going to have to save for a Norinco. When I was at Gobles I bought a S&W 1911 Target. My wife gave me permission to buy it.LOL Yea and she still doesn't know about the Baby Eagle I bought three weeks ago.:D

Ok...
So I've dedicated far too much of my day pouring over youtube videos and websites, one thing that isn't completely clear as far as I can tell. Does anybody know for sure- do the shorter barreled ones have removable chokes? They say on the website they come with a cyclinder choke "installed", but I have a feeling it may be a vague translation from Eye-Tie.
