I recently picked up a couple of Swiss rifles in .22 lr. Did the Swiss military use training rifles or would these be comercial conversions. I think both started out as 1889 rifles. One has a new barrel and has the name C.Daubenmier Dietikon on it. The other has a sleeve in the original barrel and has J.Heusserzurich on it.
If anyone has any info on these or knows any good referance books I would like to learn more about them.
