Any owners of model 1894 "musket" stocked model?
I have seen these in person, they were all "centennial models" one of the features I found attractive (literally I can't determine any functional reason for it) was the shape of the end of the tubular magazine.
I am wondering if anyone owns a non commemorative model that has similar styling? All the ones I have seen (online only) have a more utilitarian looking rounded tube end, presumably for attaching a bayonet (do not intend to bayonet anything in the near future/probably ever).
This is the style I'm looking for, on some models it had some fancy brass or gold inlay work I believe.
Besides that any pictures/stories/experiences with these rifles? Thanks.
