I have a Winchester 1894 src manufactured in 1910. It has been restocked and looks to have been reblued. I have fired the rifle numerous times without issues. A friend has expressed an interest to purchase the rifle from me, and I am wondering what a fair price would be.

I was in the gun business in the early 1960s, when a new Model 94, 30-30, retailed for $75.
At that time it was common for a hunter to bring in his used rifle, to trade in on a new one. An older gentleman who was schooling me on how to save my shirt in such deals gave the following information.
He said a 30-30 Winchester will always sell. He said you can easily get $50 for a good one and if you have one that is beat all to rat manure, someone will still give you $20-$25 for it.
Times haven't changed much, just add a zero for inflation and you got it.
