1894 Winchester hand loader

I've got a 40-82, 45-70, 38-55, 32-40 and 30-30. Of interest - someone modified the 30-30 by drilling and threading a hole through the case mouth flaring " bump" and threaded an adjustble seating stem into it, apparently to accomodate different bullet lengths and shapes from the original design. Most of the loading tools also have the single bullet mould/pliers that was sold as part of the "set". None "came with" the decapping insert but they are easy to make out of brass and steel decapping pin. One of my daughters many years ago shot a round from my grandfathers old 1886 40-82, reloaded the same case from a small "kit" containing primers, measured powder charges and boolits and fired a second round in under two minutes! That 40-82 has been relined and shoots like new! My favorite! If anyone wants to reline a 40-82 I've got a chamber reamer I had PT&G make for me a LONG TIME AGO ...

Yes they work fine , I have 45-90,45 gov,40-82,40-65,40-70,38-72,38-70,38-56,32-40,32ws,30wcf S.R.,30wcf,30gov,25-35,303 savage,45-70 350,38-55S.R., 50gov. Have tried most of them, still looking for one in 50-110 to go with my 1886 50-110
They are built to last , I also use the 1890 molds to make lead bullets together they complete the bullet making process
Nice to have and use

1886 50-110... ouch ! OK I'm impressed! And that is an impressive array of loaders. The "pliers molds" I have that "go with" the loaders don't measure up to the modern multi cavity equipment BUT for the rare/obsolete calibres they are better than going without!
