I have a 1895 30/40 krag have no idea what its worth the rifle is in really good shape. although it has holes drilled in the receiver for a side mount, I have no idea how to post pics on here so if someone wants to see it I could email pics would like an idea what its worth

With the holes drilled in the receiver it is just a shooter. Collector value is nil. The 1895 is the hardest of the Winchester centerfire levers to move on top of that. If you are not keeping it and it has no sentimental value I would strip it down and sell it for parts. You might get $500 for it as a shooter but the parts will bring more than that, probably well over $1000 if the wood is unsanded and good. My 2 cents.
