1897 Cimarron from IRUNGUNS

Just remember parts are almost non existent and most parts not compatible with the real 97's. Even the screws are an odd mix of English and metric. I just had to make a tiny wierd shaped screw from scratch for mine, it's a $2 screw, but the gun was a paperweight without it, and unobtainable. The real 97's were made by the millions and parts are readily available and even reproduction parts are being made for them thanks to the cowboy action shooting demand. That said, they work good after smoothing out, and I will be picking up another for a spare.

Cimmaron is the name given to them by the importer. They're Norinco's, and Marstar (I know) has them in stock right now for $449.

I have one for cowboy shooting, and it's a decent gun. They smooth out with use, but you can feel the difference when I use my real 1897's though. They take tru chokes for Baikals just so people know.
