1903A3 Barrel Band Screw

Hi all,

Quick question. The other day I realized that my 1903A3 Springfield is actually missing it's barrel band screw, it has been since I got I just never made the connection that there was supposed to be a screw in that hole until the other day... Does anyone have any suggestions on where I can find a replacement?

I did a bit of a google search and found a couple forums talking about replacement parts but nothing too concrete. I also checked Ebay and did find one seller but they won't ship a screw to Canada, I guess they are concerned about shipping firearms parts across the border.

If anyone happens to know of a place that sells 1903A3 Springfield parts and can share with me that would be great!

The 03A3 upper and lower band screws were swaged on the end after installation. Sometimes removal/replacement will strip or bugger the threads in the stamped bands. I see Marstar is still listing complete new 03A3 lower bands with swivel and screw on their site for $19.95. Probably the best way to go.
