Hey guys,

Does anyone happen to know where I can get an original wood stock for a 1907 Ross Rifle???

Please help me find one, or let me know where to look.

Thanks

- Brent

Finding original wood for any Ross will be very difficult unless someone has one in which the metal is all shot. I did luck out recently and find an uncut, nice condition stock for the 1905 series of Ross rifles but that was a once in a life time lucky deal. Now I have to make the handguards. A nasty job. Joe

If you have the bucks, try "Great American Gunstocks". Check out their internet site and then phone to outline your exact needs. They repro military stocks and I beleive at least have working knowledge of the Mk3.
Let us know how you make out.

Be VERY careful if you are buying a stock from GAG (E) They can be scrap wood only good for the fireplace. it seems like most of the kit he exports and will present a problem to return is scrap. I got one along with others, that was pure crap. At least it burnt well .....
