It is a heavy (all steel) pistol. Need a strong pocket.

I have one I inherited from my father. When he went off to war he gave it to my mother to carry for her personal protection. She (and I) lived in a fairly remote cabin.

Until I started watching some YouTube videos, I did not know that it was a striker (not hammer) pistol and that the barrel rotated to lock up.

 
Interesting handgun for sure! Seeing one chambered in .45acp would be real neat.

Mine is a 1915 in .380. It's such a modern pistol for such an early design. I really enjoy the small, all-steel early pistols. Such attention to detail.
