No, I didn't call you a knob. I should have clarified in the post that you can put the bolts together wrong, although it is hard, but it is REALLY hard if not practically impossible to put the bolt back into the rifle that way, which is the important thing of course, and that is where the knob part comes in. If you read books on military rifles, you'll often see a brief description of the Ross rifle with a note saying, these rifles may be unsafe to fire if the bolt is put together wrong. As for your comment about mine being broken, I don't seem to recall writing that it was. One rifle up for sale is a DP with a drilled barrel, basically good for parts. The bolt is probably still completely functional, so if the gent who actually has the problem with the firing pin in his rifle is interested, I can get it for him.
