1911 .22lr conv. FTF

Trying to shoot a STI Trojan with a Kimber .22 conversion, seems to be a very picky eater. Only works well with some high velocity ammo and 99% of the time with hyper velocity. On some FTF's the action was cycled but not far enough to #### hammer, thought hammer spring may be too heavy but then on some FTF's seems firing pin did not strike hard enough.
Pistol works fine with .45

That's not uncommon with these units. The one I had was first rate with CCI Mini Mags and the Winchester Hi-Velocity but would sometimes not function with the ligher targer or subpsonic ammo.

how long have you had it? The Kimbers have a long break in period before the work smoothly...

Probably have less than 500 rds through it, for cheap ammo seems to work good with Win. high vel. $3 something a box at CTC.
