So I just got word back from the shop that my Norinco 1911 has a N/S slide, still looking at what my options are but thought of just getting a 22 slide for it because I don't like the idea of spending a ton of money in a 400 pistol. So has anyone done this and I so what are my options

Cost of a Colt .22 conversion kit with mags is probably 2x what Nordinko is worth. Involves different barrel, slide, extractor, ejector and recoil spring and mags. Can buy complete GSG for half the price. What's wrong with the Norinko slide?

From what I have been told it's worn out but at 150 rounds that's not likely, when the slide is locked back and the slide release is hit the hammer drops to half cocked every time te hammer and seat have both been replaced with willson combat parts and the problem is still there, the guy at the shop put my slide on another 1911 and tyres it same story but the new slide on my frame worked fine.

The hammer following the slide, has nothing to do with the slide.
The fit of the hammer-sear-disconnector group is critical.
Maybe find a good Pistolsmith.
