1911 22lr coversion for spartan???

hello all,

thanks for all the great responses in my previous post, currently in negotiations for a Spartan, but my question is regarding a 22lr conversion for one as it;s something i'd like to get (good to practice with since 45acp isn't cheap hahaha) so im wondering if anyone has any expereince with it? i've read some where that the kimber 22lr conversion won't fit the Spartan? opinions and experiences welcome!

STI makes a .22 kit. Should obviously work well with the Spartan.

wait until the 1911-style dedicated 22LR pistols are out in the market. GSG 1911 is one (Blue Line has it listed). price is around the same as a conv kit ($400), but at least you'll then have two guns instead of 1.5 guns - and it would be guaranteed to work with itself!
