I went out to the range to try my first batch of reloded 45acp. with my Norc 1911a1 govnt.
I had a lot of feeding issues..... and I never had any with shelf ammo.
the bullet I use is the Berry's 200g rs plated bullet. and Jay Phillips from Berry's told me they recomend an aol of 1.20"
I read a tread about headspce that was saying that if you drop a bullet in the chamber holding the barrel with the muzzle down the casehead should be flush or a little under the barrel hood. and if the casehead was over there will be some feeding problem.
here the tread http://thefiringline.com/forums/showthread.php?t=281551
so I reseated a bullet to be in accordence with this and my aol is now 1.160" , so here my question do you think a short aol like that can cause any problem.?
thanks
