1911 9mm choices?

A quality made magazine and using cartridges with ball shape bullets is vital to basically any 9mm 1911. Can't go wrong with Tripp magazines.

Anyone seen or used the kimber stainless II, in 9 mm. Looks clean similar to sig.

Big fan of my Colt Government Series 70, but you won't find one like that around anymore... Springfield from Wanstall's may be a good way to go so you have no worries about service.

I had a Norinco NP-29 but for the money and getting it to run at a decent level i'd say it's better to spend more. I recently bought a Para LTC in 9mm and i'm pretty pleased with it. I'd say finding a high quality 9mm 1911 on the EE is a buyers best bet. I like the Dan Wessons and STIs. As for Mags price and quality wise it is hard to beat the Tripp Cobras.

A good friend has an STI Trojan from wainstalls i was very impressed with, and i just pulled the trigger (so to speak) on a STI Sentry in 9mm. I have high hopes, i've never owned a really expensive 1911 before, the best before this being a springfield loaded model. I had a 1980's colt combat elite in stainless, but it wasn't really a great shooter, so it moved on.

Great buy and good timing as they just discontinued it. One of the iconic STIs and one of my favourites.
