I am looking to install ones of these on a 9mm 1911, however, i can't seem to find them anywhere.

Brownells only carries compensator for 45 ACP.

Someone point me in the right direction...???

Why comp a 9mm?

In fact, why comp at all? But that's a whole other issue

What ever floats your boat I guess...

Most 1911 comp will fit 9MM up to 45ACP. The wilson combat 1911 auto multi-comp will fit 1911 in 9MM. Here is mine Desert Eagle 1911 with the Wilson combat multi-comp. I hope this help

Just get a 1911 .38 Super comp and screw it onto a barrell - if you know any IPSC shooters - most will have an "older generation" comp probably laying in their "parts bin". But once you have the longer barrell AND the comp - that's when all the work/$$$$$ begins. You understand that to really make a comp "work" effectively, you need HIGH VELOCITY loads - that's why ALL IPSC raceguns with comps will also have ramped barrells which require cutting/modifying the frame to accept it. Comps are really needed when you need/want to shoot very QUIK "doubletaps" otherwise there is absolutely no advantage or reason to be "needing" one. Also understand you will have to have a longer barrell (generally a 6 inch) and it will need to be threaded - most contempary comps don't use barrel bushings but a "bull barrels with a cone". As other posts have stated - if you want a 9mm to shoot like a .22 - best get a .22!!!! Without the higher than normal velocity to produce enough gases to make the comp work effectively - the comp is of no use. HOWEVER if you have sufficent velocity/gases to make the comp WORK - THEN you're hanging onto a tiger by the tail. All this is coming from an old IPSC shooter who in his prime shot over 60,000 rounds a year of .38 Super 115 gr bullets "reaching out" at 1600 fps!!!!!! Bottom line - cheaper, easier and faster to get yourself a GSG .22!!!! But having said that - "God hates a coward" - nothing is impossible! GO FOR IT!!!
