1911 9mm Jammed up BIG TIME! Again! UPDATE 12/9 WTF! 3rd time!

Have you done the "plunk" test? Dropping rounds into the barrel to see if they fit? If the ammo passes this then you need to look at the structure of the gun, and that may need the attention of a smith.

got a few pictures showing the slide inside, namely the locking feature, years got a used 1911, the ejector was poorly pinned, maybe this is wedging against the slide

mchoss the pictures i have posted are of the gun jammed up, nothing is staged
I hope you don’t think I was implying you faked the picture. I just meant that it might be “set up” to show us how it looked when it happened.
Sorry you’re having so much grief with the 1911. They’re really great guns to shoot. One thing is for sure, there is a lot of good info in this site so you’ll get the help you need to sort out the issue.

I see the opposite to be honest. You can see the front edge of the case in fact. There is not projectile in it. Unless the pic was staged to demonstrate it looks to me like a spent case is jamming it.

sure looks like a loaded round to me, as you can clearly see the rim attached to the extractor

If you feel it grab 3/4 back, it's telling me for sure its the barrel link causing the barrel not to lock up to the slide correctly. the grabbing most likely is the barrel riding the inside of the slide before locking the barrel lugs into the slide

can you get a picture of the groves ion the inside of the slide forward of the chamber?

also a pic of the chamber and link (pin side), when the link is pushed forward.

Looks like the timing is all F***** up.
that case in last picture is not seated properly.
Get a bushing wrench , handy to have and not that much money.
BTW, your picture taking is great, But don't shoot that thing till you figure out what is going on.
If you do try one round at a time , no mag, though I don't think that will help, don't look like a mag problem
I don't like the looks of that link, but that could be just from beating it a part.
When the gun is together, empty, is there any movement in the barrel up-down at the hood, take the bushing out and wiggle the front of the barrel , up and down movement?, slide closed of course.
I am grasping at straws now.
You have checked the chamber with your ammo?
