1911 9mm magazines- Stay away from 10rd or has someone figured it out?

I use a bunch of 9 round Nork mags for local three gun but a fellow shooter uses the 10 round Dawson precision mags. He offers to share them but i prefer to blame my poor times on mag changes! His work well.

I have shot, literally, tens of thousands of rounds of 9mm out of Tripp Research 10-round 1911 Cobra mags and can honestly say I have never had an issue that was mag related. Highly recommended for any 9mm 1911.

I am using Metalform front rib 8 round magazines for my officer framed 9mm CCO. 100% reliable. Unlike the Wilson and others, rather than using a rear spacer, the front of the magazine has an indented rib with a small ramp. It used to be called the "springfield front ramp" design. 15 years ago, they were considered the most reliable 9mm 1911 magazine.

Wilson Combat ETM 9mm Gen 2 is all I use and they work great. I did have to loosen the tension on my extractor as it was too tight and causing the rounds to nose dive but after that everything works great. So far over 10000 rounds through 6 magazines.
