I have recently order'd a 1911 9mm Norinco NP29 it is currently in the transfer process but reading online and watching video's the mag's that come with the gun arn't the best apparently. I was looking if anyone had experience with 9mm 1911 mag's . I would prefer having a 10round mag if possible , i know Wilson combat make's one that is good just not sure if a canadian retailer has any i have been looking, but Ellwood Epps is about 45minutes from me and they carry Kimber 1911 9mm mag's for $48 + tax does anyone have any experience with them? Thanks all

You should look into Tripp Research 10 round 9mm mags. I love mine. They are in the USA but ship to Canada with no issues. I have used them in 3 9mm 1911's with no issues.

i have 3 original mags with my Norinco NP29 9mm,,,all 3 actualy worked very well,,,all fall free easily,,,might want to wait and see how your do when you get them,,i find the sights not too great though,,but the gun runs great for such a cheap price,

I bought five of the Mecgar ten rounders. Just received them yesterday.

None of them will hold more than seven or eight rounds maximum.

I'll need to trim the springs before I can use them.

Really? Mine fit 10 just fine. Takes a little force to get the last round in without a mag loader, but they do get to maximum capacity.

Do yourself a favor, buy some wilson combat 10 rounders. I've seen some Tripp mags failing for different reason. Like falling apart when dropped on the ground and also not holding the last round on a full mag. Never had a single issue with wilson combat magasine. You could get lucky but why take a chance, buy wilson.
