1911 ambi

Hey all

Just curious if there is ambi 1911 other than the taurus that you can get in canada, thinking possibily sig or something like that.

Any info would be helpful

I believe the Sig Tacops, STX, Scorpion and Extreme comes with factory ambi.

Kimber Custom II Warrior and Tactical II has factory ambi.

You can always get a gunsmith to add one to any 1911.

I would not let the fact that a certain model 1911 doesn't have an ambi safety limit my choices or you could end up disappointed with what you buy.

Just picked up a new STI Spartan IV and it cost me 60$ to have the shop I purchased it from install one before it was shipped. That's 60$ for the new stainless safety and installation was free. Not that I couldn't have done it myself but they had the gun already and are gunsmiths. In my opinion an ambi mag release is useless because I can easily reach the mag release on mine with my left hand.
