1911's been covered. 2011 is similar.
For 2011, top end - same. Bottom End - same except:
Once the sear, disconnector sear spring, mainspring and safties are removed, the trigger can't be removed by just taking out the magazine release.
To remove the trigger, you have to take out the grip screws and bushings on both sides, and the trigger guard screw foreward. The trigger guard screw assembly consists of two screws and a bushing in between. Odds are you'll get one screw and what looks like a nut out when you disassemble it. That's OK.
Once these screws are out, carefully take the grip off the frame. You can then remove the trigger with the magazine release out.
For re-assembly, use BLUE (not red) loctite on the screws. Be careful to line up the rear bushings and screws, and not try to force them. You may bend the bushing edges or srtip your screws. STI has a tool to help with this, but it can be accomplised without. Sometimes takes some more time, that's all.
The STI lower grip screws are there for looks only, don't try to remove them.
