1911 and Browning Hi-Power mags

I am looking for some reliable 10 round 1911 magazines as well as some .40 Cal Browning Hi-power magazines that will cycle 9mm ammunition.

Anyone know where I can find these? Are the pro-mag 10 round mags good?

for 1911 go with Chip Mcormick Shooting Star mags they are the best in my family's 1911s.

I have one Mec-Gar magazine for my Hi-Power which is a 9mm. It works as well as it should so I expect their .40S&W magazines do likewise.

I have both Chip McCormics and Mec-gar and they run flawlessly

I have tried using a magazine from my .40 BHP in my 9mm BHP with 9mm and I had a lot of stovepipes. Didn't seem to have the same problem when using the 9mm mags with the same ammo. Both are original mags (pinned)

I have BHP's in both 9mm and .40 S&W. The feed lips in my .40 mags (both OEM and MecGar) are too wide to retain 9mm rounds. As for 10 round 1911 mags I bought a 3-pac of the Chip McCormick Shooting Stars from Brownells....they work well.
