1911 Compact

I'm just wondering what the chances are that a 1911 compact could be brought in from Norinco or similar chinese manufacturer?

I believe there is an "officer" model frame that is fairily wide spread. Something like that with, say, a 3.75" slide and 4.175" threaded barrel would be really cool.

dont barrels have to be 4.2" to be legal in canada? i thought anything shorter than that was considered prohibited?

Extended Barrel

It could be made legal or "Canada compliant" if it were brought in with an extended barrel to meet the Canadian requirements. Our good friends at Questar have had great success in registering sub compact Glocks in this manner.

They are ROCK ISLAND ARMORY pistols made in the Philippines. Just like SAM (Shooters Arms Manufacturing), ARMSCOR (they make STI Spartans), Ferfrans Specialties, Floro International Corporation, etc.

They have to be longer than 105mm, which works out to 4.134".
