Go with Kimber!! Exceptionally reliable. I love mine.

I have a Advantage Arms kit for my Glock. They also make one for the 1911 platform and if its half as good as my glock one then i would get one.

I've got a Kimber conversion and it's a hoot (especially with Stingers). It doesn't like lead round nose too much, but if it's plated it'll feed it no problem.

I'm still trying to get a decent group out of it for bullseye though. The likely problem is my ammo choice, my stock Norinco trigger and the fact I rarely practice with my handguns. I'm still a threat in our rimfire pin shoot at the club though.

I think I paid slightly more than that.

Just checked. $410 at Shooters Choice. More than the Norinco that it's mounted on.

Marvel Precision!! If you can find it here in Canada that is. If you can find a way to order one from the US it is well worth the price. Mine does less than an inch at 50 yards with CCI std vel ammo.

Marvel will ship to Canada...they charge about $200 for export hassles so you are probably looking at around $600-$700 depending on which model you want.
