1911 Double Stack Questions

1. Other than the obvious, are parts for a single stack 1911 such as springs, sear pins, triggers, etc. interchangeable with a double stack 1911.

2. Can you use ANY .22LR converison kits for a 1911 Double stack?

The trigger is not the same, cause of the bow and mag release

I think the problem would be finding mags.
