Well seeing as no one had the answer, I thought I'd be the guinea pig and try them out. The verdict: no, they don't fit. The grips on the NP30 are straight all the way up to the rails, while the Para's angle in towards the top.
Not from the pics I've seen of the '28. The Hogues could probably be made to fit with the removal of some material. I've recently seen pics of one wearing Pachmayer wrap-around grips, so I'll be investigating that option next.
