Hello all,

I have hammer fall when pulling the trigger on half-####. It only happens when I manually pull the hammer back - not when I rack the slide slightly back.

I dropped in a Koenig hammer and EGW sear with a slightly used SVI Triglide kit the other day.

The bow is not altered with the pretravel wedge stock and the screw is all the way forward.

Someone mentioned that the trigger bow had very little pretravel and may be the problem. I have an aftermarket grip.

Just because the slight slide rack doesnt cause hammer fall makes me wonder if it is a disconnector problem.

Thoughts?

Disconnector problems often show up after trigger\sear work. Check o'all length and be sure disconnector is with-in spec. 1.414" sticks in my mind. If this is fine, look at sear angle being cut too light.

good shooting

I took a little off the inside of the grip frame where the bow slides forward onto. problem fixed. Seems the bow was not going forward far enough in the grip frame. Too little pretravel was my problem.

Just thought I would post an update.
