For starters I am working on a new Norinco NP29 9mm 1911. I swear it came from China with a .45 extractor, not one for 9mm. I'm ordering a EGW 9mm extractor but also want a firing pin stop that doesn't move all around allowing the extractor to slide back and forth.
I noticed that there are caliber specific FPS's made by most companies now, I obviously know the differences in each caliber of gun but what are the differences in the fire pin stops?
I have tried one out of another .45 1911 and it fit so I'm thinking I can just order one up for a .45.
