1911 frame - trying to source one

I am looking for a single stack 1911 frame and am having a little bit of a hard time finding one. It can't be a Norc, as I can't import it into the US.

I tried Gunnar, but he doesn't ahve anything.

Anyone have any ideas?

Try and buy a new factory para-ordnance frame. They used to sell frames at one time.

I looked at Dlask and they didn't list any.

Armseast and Armco didn't have any.


Capian is of interest - but who sells it and has one?

As for Freedom Venture - didn't think to try them. I'm looking to use the frame to build a bullseye gun with. - they have some - not cheap, but they have some.

I would go with a STI frame from FV, just make sure you get the non ramped version. They are oversize in the rails, but considering you are building a bullseye gun that is preferable and lapping compund from Brownells is cheap.

The last one I had took very minimal fitting to get a Colt top end onto it
