1911 front sight removal

How one earth do you remove a staked in 1911 front sight? the one that has a tenon then you flared it out to hold it in place. If it's too hard I might take it to a smith. I would like to have a better sight then the current blade on it.

Dremel the swaged portion from inside the slide, pull sight out , hard part is staking the front sight back in without the proper tool, I'd be taking it to a smith......
