1911 Government vs Commander frame dimensions

I was hoping somebody with better knowledge can confirm that Government vs Commander (alloy) frames use the same internal components. I've gone over Kuhnhausen manuals and it alludes that they are identical, I just wanted to make sure...

Recoil spring, plug and bbl bushing are shorter in a Commander.

That was what I was going to say too. The Commander's slide and hood are shorter front to back because of the changed springs.

However, the critical dimension that never changes in a mainstream M1911 .45ACP, regardless of other changes, is the takedown pin to hammer pin.

Depending on your preferences, a bobtail spring housing will remove the sharp corner on the bottom of the frame, and that requires moving the mainspring housing pin hole.
