1911 Grips

Hello All,

I've been shooting a little bit here and there for years growing up and was recently given a Norinco 1911 and I would like to put some grips on it to replace the broken factory plates.

Is there anywhere in the GTA that stocks a decent selection of 1911 grips? I would prefer not to just order them online without actually touching them. I'm new to the 1911 scene so I don't really know where to look for components other than online.

Apply for access to the Equipment Exchange then post a Want to Buy (WTB) advertisement, you will find the prices only 10-50 percent higher than retail
Seriously I got some really nice 1911 grips for about half retail.

I take the originals off the gun so they don't get damaged. I like the radical concepts brand grips the best and prefer them over the Hogue brand. The RC are made from santoprene and are the sole source supplier for Colt 1911 grips since the 1980's.
Theres a guy on ebay that sells them by the name stealheadscott. unfortunately doesn't ship to Canada. have never seen anyone in Canada carry them...great grips

I know that you said that you want to find some grips in the GTA area. Good luck. Take a look at this link, they ship to Canada and returning anything is never a problem. Brownell's will even refund you the return postage. I buy everything from them and never had a problem yet.

I figured that finding parts in the GTA would be a bit of a long shot. I'll look on the EE first, but I fear it could become expensive looking at all the nice things. Ordering from Brownells was my backup plan as I am looking at some VZ or 10-8 grips.
