I was about to be nice and help you out.
And then google showed me just how easy it was to get an answer to your question.
If you were able to register on CGN, it is a safe assumption that you are capable of using google to get your answer.
You know, without it being spoonfed to you by other members.
I may be a jerk about it, but it is what it is.

I very, very often try to help out new guys or just people in general. Many times I've spent the 20 minutes online to try and find something that was almost innexistant and in which i had no interest for, just to be helpful to the guy looking for it.
But when I see people that just don't even take the time to look for themselves and that want others to do all the work, I get very, very annoyed. I don't care if you're a new guy or not. Its not a matter of being the new guy. Wether you've been here for 4 years or 4 minutes, you can type "1911 VZ grips Canada" in google just the same if you're looking for them. If you want to be lazy about it and be spoonfed instead, I'll be there to tell you how I feel about YOUR attitude, being the guy that spends the time searching for you.

I always thought we go on this board to get help or to help others!
Sometimes it is better to keep ones mouth shut and be thought a fool then to open it and remove all doubt.
Just my two cents worth.

If a guy walks up to you and asks you for the time but has a functionning watch on his wrist, what do you tell him?
Now what do you tell the 10th guy who does that? The 20th? the 50th?
As I said, i'm ALL about helping others. I do it all the time. Here, in real life, wherever.
But it pisses me off when people make it look like they need your help, sound all nice, and what they are in fact doing is asking you to spoonfeed them, out of plain laziness, for something they could get themselves without any extra effort.
Again i may sound like a jerk. But in my books, that guy with the watch on his wrist asking you for the time is a lot worst.
That's my honest opinion and I stand by it.
If someone asks me the time and I have a watch I tell him what time it is. I don't care if he has a watch or not. That is just me. I really don't care what you do, that is your business what you do.
The point that I was trying to make and the other people also were trying to make is that most times if you haven't got anything good to say don't say anything at all. If you think someone else should do there own work then let them. You don't need to say anything people will think you are a jerk.
One thing to remember is that everyone of us is judged by our actions.
If someone solicits my help and I come to find out that the only reason he/she asks for it is because he/she is too lazy, then I sure as hell will let that person know how I feel.

The OP "solicited" your help?
There are just under 100,000 members on CGN.
I've read some of the other replies to your post, and some of your replies and all I can add is this. I own a forum myself, and I mod on a few other forums as well (non gun related) and I actually used to share your thoughts, and used to tell people to "USE THE SEARCH BUTTON" But at the same time, if people only used the search, and people didnt ask question, new ones or old ones, then there would be a LOT less traffic on the forum, and then people would stop coming to the forum, and then what, it would get pretty boring wouldnt it.
Just sayin![]()
