Picked up a couple of new mags for my new-to-me 1911 Nork, and noticed: a) they needed a bit of tweaking to work, but hey, ok, and b) learned the difference between follower designs in 1911s
The new ones, not having the original half-2-step follower, lock full open and stay locked on empty, having to dump the mag to close the action. I take it this is a "mag safety" feature...
I haven't shot this pistol yet so I don't know if I will care, but this is the first pistol I've owned that locks the slide open on empty (at least with this follower design). Is this the nuisance I think its going to be?
