1911 Mag question

Hi there all. I wanted to know if 45acp mags wil feed 9mm if I change the follower? I realize I will probably need to adjust the top abit but just wondering if this is possible. Thanks in advance.

Hey Bubba , you are asking for some serious headaches, just buy dedicated 9mm mags.

it will likely crack, and will never feed right if you do manage to get it bent into shape. it will only wreck a 45mag that someone out there would likely buy.

x2 Done that tried that...just buy the 9 mm mags... life is too short.

"...with the vise..." Don't even think about using a vise. Mag lips aren't hard to adjust. Fine, long, needle nosed pliers is all you need. However, not to make 9mm mags out of .45 mags. Getting the lips just right will make you crazy.
