1911 Mag Release Question

Some of my 1911s will release the mag to drop clear no matter how hard the button is pushed.

On others, if the button is depressed just a bit, the mag drops, but if the button is pushed to hard, it binds the mag.

Do I need to remove the release button and widen the groove in it?

I would think the mags in question would need a small basturd file to open them up and leave the pistol mag release alone

for now. Then you know the rest.

you just need to widen the groove on the mag release side of it, or just get a stiffer spring so that you cant push hard enough to have the other side enter the mag channel
