perfect. So any single stack 45 mag should work without issue..
Thanks
Well, no.
Any magazine for a Colt 1911 in .45acp
will fit. Whether it will actually
work or
not, is usually determined by how much $ you spend vs, save.

In my experience, stay away from Rock Island, Metal form, Kimber, Pro Mag, etc., etc., the cheaper ones. No bueno. Now others may swear by a Kimber magazine, or a fill in the blank, but I've had FTF with these mags. I could have received lemons, and 1000 others on the same run are fine, but I've had hang-ups with them. I won't waste my cash on them.
Another general statement; 9 times out of 10, used magazines that you find on EE or Gunnnpost or the like are mags that aren't running. Don't buy them. Buy new.
If I were asked, based on price and availability, I would, and do, recommend Mec-Gar magazines for 1911's. They never fail, always run, are readily available and are very well built. I prefer 7 round stainless magazines in my 1911's.
