What are the best ones to get, and who has them in stock. I was going to pick up a few different Colt ones from marstar but they seem to be sold out for now. Also hear good things about dlask and wilson combat, but im looking for something possibly less pricey.

Not sure if it makes a difference but ill be using them in an armco tuned norinco 1911.

I've got 6 of the cheap basic ones from Marstar and my only gripe is that they're a bit snug on the rounds. Maybe they're supposed to be? Next to no issues with feeding and they drop well.

trippresearch.com. Tripp CobraMags. Simply the best .45acp 1911 mags out there. and they ship to Canada. Not the cheapest, but they are the best. Wilson 47D and the CMC power mags are also great mags and also not cheap.... When it comes to mags, you do get what you pay for. Better to have fewer high quality mags than lots of cheap ones...

X2

I was also going to suggest the Tripp Research magazines until I read that you were looking for something on the less pricey side. The Tripp Cobra magazines really are flawless and worth the extra money.

In my experience, the cheap mags I got from Freedom Ventures do an excellent job. Clearly, I don't know what's the best, but I'm pretty sure those were the cheapest when I got them 6 months ago. If I understood correctly, we're talking single-stack, right?

If you are shooting from a static position the cheaper mags usually do fine.
If you plan on running your gun hard or using them in comps My experiancer is stick
with the Wilsons and McCormicks.Guys I trust have also been very pleased with the Trip mags.
I have also found for hard use the 10 rounders do fail on rare occasions. The Wilson buracrat
seems to fail more often then the McCormicks 10 rounderfs.Stick to 7 or 8 rounders.

I have Mec Gar mags which are nice $40 a pop and the ATM mags are nice too, i think they are the same magazine made for Mec Gar by ATM. I paid $25 each for those off this board.
Both work great in my 1911.

I'm running the Dlask mags (14.99$ ea.) in my Colt 1991, no worries. They will not function in my buddies gold cup. He swears by Colt mags, orders them direct from the custom shop, they ship to Canada no problems (sub 100$ of course ~3 mags).
Cheers
