I put an order at Brownell's last week - total of $133.USD (2 x Wilson Combats, and 1 x Ed Brown Maxiwell). They quoted me $40 shipping using USPS.

What I don't like about Brownell's is that they don't provide an accurate shipping quote. The shipping cost will be provided when it gets shipped which doesn't make sense.

I asked them nicely to give me the price of the shipping before it ships so that I can make a decision to cancel it or not. I may do what you suggested to keep the cost down under $100.00.

You can call the international desk "Sandy" and she will give you a good estimate of the costs for shipping

Maybe the Wilson Combat or the McCormack's are just re-branded magazines from an existing magazine producer (like ACT, Elander etc) Might be worth looking into as you you may be just paying extra for the name on them.

Or maybe not.

Just too bad the exchange rate is in the dumps.

Just checked my email, it was Sandy who was helping me when I asked them to hold onto the shipping until I got a better quote.
