1911 magwell options in Canada

Hey guys,

I am looking for a magwell for my Kimber and am not having much luck finding any kind of selection available either in Canada - or shipped to Canada. My choice would be an Ed Brown piece as I have heard good things about them, but I am open to suggestions.

Any pointers for a supplier would be welcome (any dealers seeing this feel free to PM me)

Evolution Gun Works (EGW) will ship parts (except ignition parts) to Canada. Freedom Ventures can probably hook you up with an STI magwell. Both are good.

I bought the DLASK one in SS. I was a little disappointed (not DLASK fault) as it was more grey coloured than the brighter SS Ed Brown parts I was using. I sent it off to ArmaCoat to have parkerized to match my Sig 1911. If I had to buy again, I might look at EGW, Ed Brown or Wilson Combat as other options.

Dlask has been downhill for a while with the service that is hit and miss (many many threads on this)

personally i think ed brown stuff is way over hyped specially when you have #### tons of other options

- STI drop in 2 piece (sean @ freedom ventures)
- Dawson Precision (they ship to canada)
- EGW (they ship to canada)
- Smith & Alexander (forgot who carries them)
- wilson combat (brownells)

and if your budget allows, there is always the best of the breed - SVI (can order from CRAFM)

Thanks for all the replies and suggestions. I ended up going with a stainless 2 piece MSH/Magwell from EGW. Hope to see it in about a week.
