Anyone know where one could obtain in Canada Micarta/G10 grips (bobtailed preferablly but I suppose I could try to mod them myself)? I tried to get some from Brownells but due to the manufacturer not being registered blah blah blah...

They are a US company but they ship to Canada. I am in the process of ordering a pair of G10 grips from them. I think they do custom work as well but you would have to confirm that with them. They have been very quick to respond to my emails.
 
Was going to place an order with MIL-TAC, but when putting through the order online, the only shipping options were FED-EX international economy for $60.54 or priority $66.16; That's a little steep.

edit to add: anyone who order from VZ know how much shipping was approx?

Got some grips from him and shipping was $15 if I remember correctly as it was a couple of months ago. Top notch service as I only waited 11 days for the grips.

get some rag micarta grips from Nighthawk Custom. TSE can bring them in. I've ordered a couple of sets in the past. Usually here in 2 weeks.
 
Just to clarify if anyone wanted to know, I had emailed Mil-Tac, they said they will indeed ship USPS and charge what it costs.
 
That look great, unfortunatly they got hear a few days ahead of the pistol! I'll post a pic when they are put on. They are the Black and Grey G10 diaganol grooved...a bobtail version of these:

They look great. They definately change the look of the gun.

I got mine a week after ordering. I screwed up on my order form and ordered the diamond pattern instead of the diagonal cut. The diamond pattern look ok but I prefer the diagonal. I guess I will stick with them and see how they work.
