1911 nighthawk t3 issue

lets say you have a nighthawk t3 with a 4.25 inch barrel, is the frame interchangeable with a 5 inch 22. conversion slide?

Usually, the "commander" style 1911's, [ie. with 4.25" barrel], the frames are shorter on the forward dust cover than the frame of a full length 1911 [ie. 5" barrel].

So, if you attempt to put a 5" barrel slide on that "shorter" frame there will be a gap. Might still function [especially if you are going with a full length guide rod] but it would be unsightly.

I bought a .22 upper built by Tactical Solutions. It fits perfectly on my NHC Predator II. This is a very well constructed unit in all steel with a lockback feature with the magazines they offer. The magazines are pricey but they too are beautifully designed and easily maintained. PM me if you need further info. Pricing varies.
