depends on the mission but over all the glock is new technology and will always be reliable but then again the 1911 is also a proven design mostly because it was in ww2 I own and like the glock

I have a combat commander, and several Glocks. I love the commander, but if I had to have only one, it'd be the Glock - and if I had to get specific, I'd make it my model 19.

Not as easy to answer as it used to be.

Previously, 9mm Commander or CCO configuration.

Not that I have a restricted G19 and pinned 10/15 and 10/33 magazines, I would have to say the Glock!!!! (the Gen 3 triggers are SO much better than the gen 2 I had years ago.) Plus it's smaller/shorted than even the CCO configuration.

the older I get the more I love my plastic guns. HK, Walther, now Glock too.

Does it matter??? Hell ya.

Wilson Combat or Nighthawk over Glock?

Absolutely. Incredible weapon, plus gives you option to sell Wilson, and buy 5-7 more Glocks. ;)

Norc.. Nope, Ill take the GLock.

I refuse to vote in this poll.......:p

NAA.

I'll take 7 rounds of rock and roll over 17 rounds of mickey mouse any day :D Or I suppose in our case, 7 and 10.

 I've asked every single pro 45 guy this same question. Will you stand in front of my while I shoot you with 9mm? If you answered no, then the round has done its job. Many here will tell you that "we're only permitted to shoot paper so it doesnt matter" which is a fair statement. If you bought your pistol to defend life and are convinced that 45 is superior, you're way off base. Its about where you put it, not what you put there. Shot placement wins fights, not calibre.

It's a poll.

And I'm curious if you'd get many offers to stand in front of you while you shot them with a .22 short? Or even a .177 airgun?

I shoot .45 because it's a nice lower velocity bullet that I can cast for without needing harder alloy, and I like my .45 because it's simple, reliable, accurate, cheap and durable.
