1911 parts in canada

Other people here pointed me to Brownells. Quick shipping, just make sure the parts you want are on their approved export list. Wilson Combat is what I've been buying, no issues. Also, gun parts per order can't exceed $100 U.S. Tools, literature, etc are exempt from the limit.

Or if you are driving in the mid to Western US, stop in at Cabela's. Cabela's has a store in Winnipeg (? I think) but I don't know what they stock for 1911 parts and accessories.

Brownell's is the best bet, if thet can't ship it they will let you know. I tried to order grip screw bushings and they cancelled twice until I got the right manufacurer.

Basically nothing. I'd keep driving to be perfectly honest...

US stores are totally different but I'd rather buy my gear in Canada or have it shipped. Never know when you're going to get a tactical-mall-cop-ninja border guard who decides to give you a hard time over gun parts. Legit or not, I still don't want to deal with the hassle.

Thanks guys ! I'd rather shop Canadian if possible so I'll check out Armco., If not, then Brownells.
Does anyone know if a guy can buy night sight paint ? I've got an Iver Johnson that I'm told will be an ordeal to change sights on so I'd like to try to make my own with the existing sights, any thoughts or ideas ?

Sounds like Gunnar at Armco is your man.

My best 1911 was purchased from Armco. A used Commander length .. very nice.
