Looking for a retailer in Canada that is the go to spot for all things 1911 part related.
I checked Dlask, and looks like they are out of the 1911 game as it pretty much all says "Out of Stock".
I'm looking for 45 and 9mm parts...who ya got?
*Just remember to send me any link in PM if they are not on the CGN site*

Cheers,
Standingtall

Post a WTB ad up in the EE pistols parts subforum.

Someone on here will likely have what you're looking for.

NAA.

I used to get a lot of Nighthawk 1911 parts from EPPs...but that was prior to their traitorous politicking. I will no longer shop there.

Well...
I'm really not sure. That's part of the problem. I'm thinking magwell main spring housing, trigger... I'm fairly new to 1911's (got a 9mm in a last ditch grab before "The day that shall not be mentioned"). So you see, I'm not sure WHAT I should upgrade. I figured looking at a couple websites would give me some ideas on what I'm looking to do to this thing. And before you ask... its a Girsan MC1911C in 9mm, literally the last 9mm 1911 I could find anywhere at the 11th hour. Wanted an STI... wound up with a Girsan, so I figure I will need to upgrade a bunch of crap on this little turkish delight.

I don’t know about that statement, I also managed to get a Turkish 1911 in the 11th hour (tisas in 45) and it feels like a solid gun, I’ve only put 100 rounds through it admittedly but personally I’d hold off on parts until stuff breaks or until you decide what it needs to be fitted better to your hand, tho for parts I have used practical performance, marstar, and astec armoury

Why? Grisham are good ,for the price. Depend on what you intend to do. IPSC require one thing and bullseye another. Get a case of ammo shoot the heck out of it. The firearm will talk to you. You will then see what you want. I found on a perfect 1911 I had that the safety dug into my thumb so it got replaced.

I have a Tisas Highpower and it's a solid gun. It's not a browning, but I didn't pay browning prices either. Shoot it until something breaks I say.
