Hey there fellow CGNers,
I have been trying to research which "Tactical" 1911 to purchase. I am mostly looking for a 1911 that is very reliable and won't have issues years down the road as I plan to use it for IPSC so it will see many many rounds. I have read that Kimber 1911's have lots of MIM parts that cause malfunctions down the road and don't know if this is true or if it is just Kimber haters on the 1911 forums? Also I read that Springfield has the best warranty? I am open to any opinions, but please relate it to your experience, not someone else's. I am looking to spend upto around $1500-2000 on a nice reliable tactical 1911, rail/no rail doesn't matter.
Cheers, Outcold
