I was wondering if anyone has experience with a holster for a remington 1911 r1 enhanced in 9mm. I am looking at ordering a holster but the manufacturer has some concerns that the 9mm version may be smaller than a standard 5" 1911. Any help or experience with this gun would be awesome.

After contacting Remington to ask this question they responded 4 days later and said they do not disclose size differences between there models. So I am taking the leap and have ordered a hammer armament holster for it. I will update once I get the holster on how it fits.
Depends if yours has the FO sight or those crazy tall sight. Most 1911 kydex holster will work. Generally, a non railed 1911 is pretty much 99% similar in size regardless of caliber, the other 1 % will be Sig and or 1911 with super wide thumb safety and big ass sight.
