Hey! Just before Christmas I ordered these grips from raascogrips.com ....well today I received them!! They are very nice, well made and I think the price is good too. I put them on my only 1911 (but not my last;) ), my Remington R1. I think she looks great now!
By the way, Happy new Year to all of you!

Very, very nice!

Your third pic shows the nice color in these grips the best, though.

I gotta say that the Remington R1's already come with nice looking grips, too, from the one example that I have seen in person.

NAA.

I've been thinking of ordering some of those grips.

What else can you tell us about them...how do they feel, what colour schemes did you get?

These are from the Dymondwood model...the set on the gun are Rosewood and Walnut and the other pair is the Desert Camo color (but they are not like on their picture though). The grip (checkering) on these are better than the original ones that came with the gun. I paid like 9$us for the shipping, thats not bad. I will order some more shortly...Im looking for a Norc, so i'll need some grip with ambi-safety cut. What else can I say? they are made from laminated hardwood...thats all I know
